Frilly & Funkie -- Enjoy Your Embossing #2 -- February 2016

Okay, snow day #2.  It never happens that I get two days in a row.  More snow.  More shoveling.  Ugh.

I forge ahead even though the snow is blowing, my hands and back are rebelling from picking up the snow shovel again, my embossing gun is calling out to me.....it's warm.

So as a second entry into the Enjoy Your Embossing with the Frilly and Funkie blog that is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique, here is some more embossing.

The process for the tag is after the photo.

Frilly & Funkie -- Enjoy Your Embossing #2 -- February 2016

I started with a #8 manila tag.   I covered it with Bazzill paper color Pomegranate Splash.  Next was Wendy Vecchi's Black Embossing paste and the Tim Holtz Flourishes stencil.

Next I took a black manila tag.  I stamped the Impression Obsession Heart (#D17099) with Versa Mark. I embossed it with Enchanged Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.  Next I cut out the heart and used colored texture paste with Aged Mahogany Spray Stain.  The Flourish Stencil from Tim Holtz was used to create the pattern within the hearts.

For the "other" heart I die cut it from the Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Mini Hearts set.  I used a Tm Holtz Embossing Folder.  I used Versa Mark and Ranger's Bridal Tinsel Embossing Powder.  I then used several coats of Clear Embossing Powder so that it stayed shiny.

Next i worked on the ticket.  The ticket is in the Tim Holtz #82 Love Struck stamp set.  I managed to emboss it into colors using some masking.  The tag was stamped in Versa Mark G45 Venetian Lace paper.  I then embossed it in Black Ranger Embossing Powder.  Next, I embossed the "14" and "Love" in Red Tinsel Embossing Powder.  The tag was edged and colored with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye.

I grabbed a Grapevine Designs & Studio "Love" and even though it is wood, I used Versa Mark and embossed it with Enchanted Gold Embossing powder.

Finally I added a couple of black feathers, a mulberry rose from Wild Orchid Crafts, May Arts Gold Curly Ribbon, and a "Postcard" from The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
