Well, I’m closing in on my first year of papercrafting! I’m at month 11 and this is my 11th Tim Holtz tag! More on my journey into the papercrafting world soon! Since I’m still rather new at all of these techniques, the remix is a great way for me to learn new things or work on the techniques I’ve learned in the past 11 months and try to make it better than the last time (or first time) I tried the technique. This month’s tag with Tim was a combination of both a redo technique and a new technique. […]
READ MOREAfter several wintry days (one of which involved a normal 20 minute drive home from work turning into a 2+ hour driving extravaganza in blizzard conditions), Easter Sunday was a bright, beautiful, blue sky day. It was warm enough and sunny enough to melt the snow off the branches of the bushes and trees that started to show the early signs of spring. As I peeked out into my garden late this morning, I notice my rhubarb poking up out of the snow. My garden beds are starting to show signs of being ready for their spring/summer soil turnover. My ornamental grasses as starting to sprout and my hostas and hops in the backyard are peeking through the soil. Spring is slowly springing here. […]

The brand new box right on the edge of the shelf next to texture paste, crackle paint, embossing paste, and multi-medium matte among others. I even watched the videos and how-to’s on Tim Holtz’s blog. After several months, today was the day I decided to use it. […]

We saw that last weekend when we were out for a walk. And, this week our neighbor’s daffodils were blooming. Daffodils are one of my favorite springtime flowers and in March and April they are everywhere in England. So this week’s tag focused on green as there is the arrival of Spring and on March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. […]
