Here is my December Tag for the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015 challenge. I absolutely love Tim's tag but wanted to try to find a different way to use the wreath idea and try a couple of different types of backgrounds. After a couple of false starts and some experiments with backgrounds (cork, burlap, canvas and various stencils and colors), here is the finished product! I loved making this tag but didn't really settle on a idea until yesterday when I was re-arranging my craft room and stumbled on the Window Frame and Window Box die cut as I was putting away some other dies. I was excited to see the Tis the Season Challenge on the Frilly and Funkie Blog which would give me a chance to see what I could do. I went down into my basement and gathered a bunch of craft stuff that had been relegated to a pile for Goodwill or to be given to other crafty friends and rifled through it to find the bits and pieces for this project. When I first saw Tag #8 I was worried about what I could make of it. Ideas floated around in my head but nothing that I quite felt right.
