The challenge for the Frilly & Funkie challenge blog was a look at “Oh, the Places You Will Go.” The challenge is generously sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique. After some fits and starts on this tag, I wound up doing the flip side of it. I was rather tired after having run a half marathon and then driving home so it was ironic that I landed on the theme of “going home.” While we go on vacation, journeys, and adventures we always want to come home. When I go on vacation we have many little adventures and, usually, the journey is rather far from home there is truly nothing like coming home. It’s nice to have a bit of normalcy and familiarity not to mention curling up in your own bed! I also thought of all of those who travel for work and look forward to coming home to family. My beloved does a lot of traveling and he is always happy to come home. So, we go to many places but we always go to our favorite place -- home. […]
