Just a quick post to introduce my Week 10 tag for the 12 Tags of Christmas – Funkie Junkie Style. I get that I’m running a bit behind and I’m trying to get caught up as the deadline is fast approaching! The 12 tags of Christmas challenge is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique and while there is still time to join in you better get moving! The rules can be found on Linda’s blog.
Week 10’s tag inspired me to use chalk and snowflakes. Out came my Frosted Crystal embossing powder and chalk. I grabbed the snow flake stamp and got to work. My snowflakes aren’t perfect and a couple of them look a teensy bit less than ideal but I gave it a go. I decided to grab brown chalk out of my elementary version of drawing chalk. I struggled with the tag because it looks all a bit simple to me. I futzed and futzed and futzed. I walked away from it twice (once overnight) and kept coming back to a very simple design.
As we near our last full weekend of Christmas shopping – stay safe, enjoy the good tidings, and hopefully you’ll have a little bit of a white Christmas!

17-Dec-16 6:17 AMHello Ms. Inkysplatters, glad to see you back with Tag 10! Loving that wonderful snowflake and the way you topped it off with the silver charm. It looks wonderful. I really like the brown panel that your snowflake is mounted on - it reminds me of the gingerbread cookies I baked last week. All in all, it's a yummy tag!
Hugs, Linda
