Here is another entry for the Frilly and Funkie Challenge – Boy oh boy! The challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique. At first I had no idea what I was going to do. I thought about it all week and decided to just let it go. Some days the canvas just goes blank. Lucky for me some of my birthday stuff arrived early and my beloved just let me play around with my new goodies in my craft room this weekend. Yesterday I went through all of my new inks. Today, I woke up and just started to futz around with the mica powders to see what I could do with them. Here is tag #2 for Boy oh boy.
The process for this tag was very much “in the moment” – except for when I went out for a run while the background was drying. I didn’t intend for the background to be anything but an experiment with the new stuff. When I came home from my run and finished tag #1 (which can be found here) I started to work on this tag. I tried to think of something off of the old saying about boys are made of snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails (the drawer pull wasn’t big enough to put all of those words so tails will have to do).
These tags were great fun to make and I think the best part about it was that they were just experiments that morphed into challenge entries.
Happy sugar and spice and everything nice!
