Okay, so here's tag #2 for Linda's 12 tags of Christmas 2015. This challenge is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique and can be found on Linda's blog. Again this tag was made weeks ago but only now being posted as I finally have a blog! I was inspired by the stars and trees Linda used in her tag and it reminded me of growing up in the middle of a forest when at night the stars were so bright because there were simply no ambient city lights to wash them out.
I used a standard black #8 tag and embossed the tag with a Tim Holtz stars embossing folder. I used a versa mark pen for the stars and embossed them in gold. The trees are a die cut from Tim Holtz and die cut from three different green papers. I dusted them with the snow paste. I added white glitter paper to the bottom to create a snow covered ground. I added a word band from Tim Holtz.
