Finally, I’ve managed to get something together for the Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas – Week #5! When it’s 70 degrees outside it’s a bit hard to get motivated to work on a Christmas tag but I did it! You can still join in on the 12 Tags of Christmas challenge. All of the challenge rules on the Funkie Junkie Blog. Hopefully my tag will inspire you to join in the fun! The challenge is generously sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique.
I was inspired by Linda’s tag is try to do something with the metallic spray stains. In all honesty, I don’t usually use the metallic spray stains very often so I wanted to give it a go. The tag went a little on the brown side but it started to remind me of the times when the Christmas tree in my house is decorated in a range of browns, gold, and a touch of cream. I did find out the hard way that the thinlits for the background was a little fussy to glue down but I think I managed – barely!
This tag travels well too. It made the trek to Spain just to be photographed since I didn't get that done before I left the house for our vacation.
Week #6's tag is on its way too!

13-Nov-16 8:01 PMThe Festive Gent is a favorite of mine. He looks amazing as his black glitter self and I really love the way you altered the heath to be gold. And of course, the vintage text paper in the background is always a winner with me! I've been thinking about dragging this guy out of my stash and I think you've convinced me. Super take on Tag #5!
Hugs, Linda
