12 Tags of Christmas – Funkie Junkie Style (Week #6)

Yea!!! I’ve met the half-way point!! I’m working my way through the 12 Tags of Christmas – Funkie Junkie Style. The challenge is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique and there is still time for you to get going, get caught up, and finish the challenge! Despite finishing my tag for Week #6 , it also means I don’t have a lot of time to get my Christmas shopping done either…

This week I was inspired by Linda’s tag to use Kraft, use texture paste, and try to stay a little monochromatic. I don’t normally reach for a Kraft tag and so far in the challenge I haven’t really used texture paste. So, out came texture paste and a new die cut that I got from Cheery Lynn Designs (the poinsettia). As I already had the Tim Holtz Dapper paper stash out I grabbed a couple of pieces from that paper pad and made my poinsettias. I hadn’t really thought about it until I was going through the paper pad for a different project that I realized some of the papers could be used for Christmas.

I hope you are inspired by my little tag. Now that it’s November I’m sure it will be no time before we are inundated by Christmas music!

Love those festive poinsettias - great job using the Dapper paper! They really stand out against your kraft background. So glad you made it to the half way point. Sorry it's taken me a month to get over to visit you. But it was worth the wait!

Hugs, Linda
