Tag #4 was all about plaid. The 12 tags of Christmas 2015 is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique and can be found on Linda's blog. I was inspired by Linda's tag because of the plaid but decided to go in a direction I don't normally go ..... a lot of different things on a tag. I decided to challenge myself with this one.
I started with a #8 tag and created a background using the plaid paper in Tim Holtz's Christmas paper pad and edged in Gathered Twigs Distress Innk. Plaid done! I found a card that Linda gave me in one of those little suprise thank you gifts she gives with each order. I die cut some greenery from the Tim Holtz thinlits die. I used a Petaloo berry cluster, some emphemera (a bit of distressing and inking added) from the Tim Holtz pack for this year. I used a magnolia flower and cut out the center to add a cluster of silver stamens. The magnolia was dyed with Tim Holtz festive berries spray stain. I then added some twine bows. At the end I added the snow paste. Considering this is outside my norm, I'm quite happy with it!
